Xuande Six-Character Mark
This bronze vessel is cast in rounded gui-form，supported on a short splayed foot with a slightly everted mouthrim. The waist neck is also cast with two protuberant handles，each in the form of a mythical bird’s head. The rest of the body is plain and appears to have established the warm reddish-brown patina. The recessed base is cast with a six-character mark “Da Ming Xuan De Nian Zhi“ inside a rectangle in regular script.
